3 PhD student thesis submissions in 3 weeks!

McGivern Lab is proud to announce that three of our PhD students have submitted their theses in the last three weeks!

Nick Brancazio submitted her thesis “Having Gender in Mind” in November 2019. She’ll be staying at UOW to work on the Agency and Intelligence in Minimal Systems (AIMS) Project. This project builds on the research Nick and Patrick have been doing for the Minimal Cognition Project.

In early December, Anco Peeters submitted his thesis “Thinking Through Things.” He has now gone to the Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany) to begin a postdoc position on memory with Dr. Markus Werning.

And now, in mid-December, Russell Meyer has submitted his thesis “Let me explain: the dynamical alternative.” Russell is currently applying to postdoc positions. Congratulations to our postgrads and the primary advisor to all three, Patrick McGivern!
