Dear all

For those of you who were unable to attend the Patient Centred Medical Homes Symposium on 29 April, please see link below to the presentations that were given on the day.

The feedback we received from attendees, including in the formal evaluation, tells us the day was a great success: the presentations and subsequent discussion were energising, informative and thought provoking.

Treating co-morbid depression and nicotine dependence study invitation

Our Dean of Medicine, Professor Nick Zwar would like to extend an invitation to your practice to participate in “The Webquit pilot study”.

This research is being undertaken to learn more about how we can assist smokers with depression to quit smoking in primary care.

The intervention integrates a program delivered via the internet with support provided in general practice.

The aim of this study is to pilot the Webquit intervention in general practice to evaluate the program’s feasibility for both patients and health care providers.
