Templates

UOW have developed some blog templates to be used for our Blogging Service. The aim of the templates is to provide some choice within a related range, so that users who move from our UOW websites to a blog and back again, and perhaps to a different blog – will have a bit of a coherent experience. We don’t want each blog to be SO different that your users have to learn how to navigate around it each time. But on the other hand, the variety of different purposes for blogs does require some differences and choice. So we have developed a set of related templates, with themes designed to suit their expected audiences and authors, these include:

- Students Blogs
- Project Blogs (Both Staff and Student)
- Research Blogs

Upon request of a blog you will get the following theme as a default. The owner of the blog (Blog Admin role) are welcome to change to another UOW theme with a different colour scheme at anytime. Blog owners can also add “widgets” to customise the look and the content of the side panels of the blog. This might include adding in a logo of your research partner for example. See the FAQ page for more information on how to do this.
